Step-by-Step Installation Guide
Follow these detailed instructions to install your eSIM on Android
Open the eSIM Email
Launch your email app and open the message from noreply@stevesim.com titled 'Your eSIM is Ready!'
Look for the email in your inbox. If you can't find it, check your spam or junk folder. The email contains your unique activation code and setup instructions.

Tip
Make sure to check your spam folder if you don't see the email in your inbox.
Copy the Activation Code
Inside the email, scroll to Android Manual Setup. Long-press the code starting with 'LPA:1$…' and select Copy
The activation code is a long string that starts with 'LPA:1$'. This unique code contains all the information needed to download your eSIM profile to your device.

Tip
Make sure to copy the entire code - it's quite long and contains special characters.
Open Android Settings
Go to your Settings app (gear icon)
Find and tap the Settings app on your Android device. This is usually represented by a gear or cog icon and can be found in your app drawer or on your home screen.

Navigate to Network & Internet
Tap Network & Internet
In the Settings menu, look for 'Network & Internet' or similar option. On some Android devices, this might be called 'Connections' or 'Mobile Networks'.

Tip
The exact menu name may vary depending on your Android version and device manufacturer.
Enter SIM Settings
Select SIM-Karten-Einstellungen (SIM Card Settings)
Look for the SIM card management section. This might be called 'SIM card manager', 'SIM settings', or 'Mobile plans' depending on your device.

Add eSIM
Tap the eSIM section (it likely shows 'Nicht konfiguriert' or 'Not configured')
If you already have an eSIM slot, tap on it. If this is your first eSIM, look for an 'Add' or '+' button to add a new mobile plan.

Begin Setup
On the 'Mobilfunkverbindung herstellen' screen, choose 'eSIM einrichten' (Set up eSIM)
Your device will present options for adding a mobile plan. Choose the option to set up or configure an eSIM.

Choose Manual Code Entry
When prompted to scan a QR code, tap 'Aktivierungscode eingeben' (Enter activation code)
Instead of using the QR code, we'll use the manual activation code you copied from the email. Look for the option to enter the code manually.

Tip
Manual entry is more reliable than QR scanning in many cases.
Paste the Activation Code
In the 'SIM hinzufügen' field, long-press and paste your copied code. Tap 'Weiter' (Next)
Long-press in the text field and select 'Paste' to insert the activation code you copied earlier. Make sure the entire code is pasted correctly.

Important
Make sure the entire activation code is pasted - it's quite long and starts with 'LPA:1$'
Device Setup
Android connects to the global network—this may take a moment
Your device will now contact the eSIM server and download your profile. This process requires an internet connection and may take 1-3 minutes.

Tip
Make sure you have a stable internet connection during this step.
Success Confirmation
Once complete, you'll see 'Deine eSIM kann jetzt verwendet werden' (Your eSIM is ready to use). Tap 'Fertig' (Done)
Congratulations! Your eSIM profile has been successfully installed. You'll see a confirmation message indicating that your eSIM is ready for use.

Final Configuration
Back in SIM-Karten-Einstellungen, ensure the toggle is on for your 'Global' eSIM
Return to the SIM settings and make sure your new eSIM is enabled. It should show as 'Global – Aktiv' or 'Active'.

Enable Data Roaming (Optional)
If you're traveling, toggle Roaming on and accept the warning popup
For international use, you may need to enable data roaming. This allows your device to connect to networks outside your home country.

Important
Only enable roaming if you're traveling internationally and using the eSIM for data.
